Maxima Acuña de Chaupe and Elmer Campos, two of the most affected by the attempted imposition of the Conga mining project, have testified during the official World Bank Annual Meeting, telling the directors who hold a 5% stake in Yanacocha, and thus in the Conga mining project, how their investment has done untold damage to their lives and the lives of their families.
